Looking for a unique and fun day trip? Join us as we head to Alfarnate, Málaga, and immerse yourself in the Cherry Blossom Festival – a celebration of nature, culture, and community!
Every spring, this charming town bursts into a sea of pink and white blossoms, creating a breathtaking backdrop for a day full of activities. The entire municipality is transformed with thousands of handmade flower decorations, crafted by the locals, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Inspired by Japan’s famous Sakura festivals, Alfarnate honors this beautiful season with Japanese cultural workshops, where you can try your hand at calligraphy, traditional bookbinding, or martial arts like kyudo, iaido, and aikido. Plus, don’t miss the street stalls serving up delicious Spanish and Japanese cuisine – a perfect fusion of flavors!
This festival began when a group of Japanese travellers stumbled upon Alfarnate’s cherry blossoms and were so enchanted that they kept coming back. Their love for the town’s natural beauty led to the official launch of this vibrant celebration, now a must-visit event!

WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Your tickets will include transport to and from Alfarnate plus the coach driver’s tip.
A MINIMUM OF 30 PEOPLE IS REQUIRED TO MAKE THIS TRIP TAKE PLACE.

El Ingenio (Old COVID Tent) (09:45hr)
The coach will be returning from Alfarnate at (17:00hr).
All travel times are confirmed 48 hours before the day of travel.

We have four payment methods available for you to purchase your tickets:
WEBSITE
You can purchase your trip tickets directly on our website using any debit or credit card.
Please note there is an administration charge when purchasing tickets on the website.
CASH
You can pay for your tickets with cash by visiting me at PJ’s Bar at El Zoco in Nerja.

Please contact me beforehand so I can confirm I will be around when you plan to visit.
REVOLUT
If you own a Revolut account you can transfer your ticket money directly to me with no extra cost.
You can use either my mobile number (603113931) or my Revolut handle (@pjc1981) to make the transfer.
ONLINE LINK
If you wish to pay via an online link, I will send you a link where you can use any debit or credit card to pay online.
This process is not automated and I have to generate each payment link manually.
I send links out every day so please be patient with your link.
If you have not received your payment link within 48 hours please contact me.
Please note that when you pay via a link online there is an administration charge.
Tickets are sold on a first-come first-served basis.
I will reserve you a ticket for as long as I can but tickets are only ever secured once they have been paid for.
Refunds are only available 7 days before the departure date of the planned trip providing the minimum number of required people are attending the trip.
If the trip requires purchasing of tickets and they have already been purchased then you will not be refunded the cost of the ticket.
I will try and resell your ticket and if successful you will be refunded.
