This 3‑day escape to the north of the Rif invites you to discover the blend of cultures, coastal charm, and blue‑washed mountain towns of northern Morocco, all with comfortable coach travel and fast ferry crossings from Spain.
From the Spanish enclave of Ceuta and the Andalusian‑flavoured streets of Tetuán to the Atlantic breeze of Asilah and the international flair of Tánger, the route showcases fortified medinas, ocean views, and lively markets.

ITINERARY
DAY 1
Ceuta and Tetuán
Our adventure begins with a private bus to Malaga, we then change bus in Malaga and head to Algeciras where we will take a fast ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar to Ceuta.
On arrival in Ceuta, guided tour by coach including the Reales Murallas, Foso de San Felipe, Plaza de África and Monte Hacho, with views over the city and the Strait of Gibraltar from the Mirador de San Antonio, followed by lunch in the city.
After border formalities with Morocco, continuation by road to Tetuán, the “Paloma Blanca,” for a guided visit through the medina, characteristic souks and markets, the mellah (Jewish quarter) and Plaza Hassan II with the Royal Palace, finishing by crossing boulevards and cafés from the old protectorate period before rejoining the coach at Plaza Moulay El Mehdi.
Transfer to our hotel for a buffet dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2
Asilah and Tángier
Buffet breakfast at the hotel and departure along the Atlantic coast to Asilah, a picturesque fishing town fortified by the Portuguese, where a short walking visit through the white‑washed streets and seaside ramparts is combined with time for photos and lunch.
In the afternoon, continuation to Tánger, a historic crossroads city that was an international zone for much of the 20th century and is today the main economic‑administrative centre of northern Morocco.
Visit beginning at Cabo Espartel, with spectacular views over the Strait of Gibraltar, and free time to ride camels or visit the Caves of Hercules (optional, payable locally), followed by a panoramic coach tour of modern Tánger including Boulevard Pasteur, Plaza de Francia and diplomatic neighbourhoods.
At the end of the visit, return to the our hotel, with buffet dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 3
Chefchauen
Breakfast and departure towards Chefchaouen (the blue city), a town nestled in a valley of the Rif mountains, whose name in the local dialect means “horns,” a reference to the two peaks visible above the city.
Guided walking visit through the medina, where the narrow, irregular layout and blue‑washed houses, inherited from the Muslims and Jews who founded the town in 1471 after their exile from Al‑Andalus, create the famous blue‑toned streets.
Free time for shopping and a typical Moroccan lunch in Chefchauen, before regrouping at the time indicated by the guide for the return journey to Ceuta.
Border crossing procedures and fast‑ferry embarkation back to Algeciras, followed by coach transfers back home and bringing the tour to a close.
