DAY 2

Casablanca • MARRAKKECH

After breakfast, the day begins with a panoramic tour of Casablanca, a large city popular with tourists thanks to the legendary film of the same name, shot in 1942.

In Arabic, “Dar al Baida” means “the white house,” as sailors used to identify the city with a small house on Anfa Hill.

The city developed in the 19th century thanks to its textile industry and the construction of a modern port in the early 20th century, making it the economic capital of Morocco.

Highlights will include an optional visit inside the iconic Hassan II Mosque, a masterpiece of modern Moroccan architecture set on the ocean’s edge.

You will then enjoy FREE TIME plus lunch.

In the afternoon, we will head inland to the city of Marrakech, where the energy of the Medina and the charm of the red-hued buildings await.

Hotel check-in and dinner.

OPTIONAL EXTRA – Visit Jemaa el-Fnaa square (A UNESCO World Heritage Site) one of the largest and liveliest squares in the world, a meeting place for acrobats, storytellers, snake charmers, dancers, and musicians.

At night, it is also transformed into a huge restaurant with traditional food stalls.

* Please see below for optional extra costs.

DAY 3

MARRAKECH

A full day in Marrakech starts with breakfast followed by a guided city tour.

You’ll explore the exterior of the Koutoubia Mosque, stroll through the lush Menara Gardens, and visit the stunning Bahia Palace.

You’ll then dive into the heart of the Medina, where narrow alleyways, artisan shops, and bustling souks paint an unforgettable picture of local life.

Lunch is included at the hotel, and the afternoon is yours to relax, wander, or shop at your own pace.

OPTIONAL EXTRA – In the evening, you can choose to enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner accompanied by live music and dance in an authentic desert-style tent attending the “Fantasy Chez Ali” dinner show.

Located in the city’s palm groves, featuring all the country’s cuisine and folklore.

After breakfast you will have FREE TIME to enjoy Marrakech.

Early afternoon we will return to Casablanca.

DAY 5

RABAT

After breakfast, the tour continues to Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital, located on the Atlantic coast.

A great city designed in 1195 by the Almohad sultan Yaqub al-Mansur and driven by the Moriscos expelled from Spain in 1610.

In 1666 it was taken by the Alawites, the dynasty that has ruled Morocco to this day.

We then enjoy a panoramic and monumental visit: exterior of the Royal Palace, residence of the current Alawite monarch Mohamed VI, the mausoleum of Mohamed V and the Tour Hassan, an unfinished mosque that was to surpass the Giralda in Seville and the Koutubia in Marrakech.

After the visit, we will continue our journey to Ceuta, where we will board a boat to Algeciras with unforgettable memories of your Moroccan adventure.

We will then continue our journey home.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS...

Night Visit TO Jemaa el Fna Square (UNESCO SITE)

The Jemaa el-Fna Square is one of the main cultural spaces in Marrakesh and has become one of the symbols of the city since its foundation in the eleventh century.

It represents a unique concentration of popular Moroccan cultural traditions performed through musical, religious and artistic expressions.

Located at the entrance of the Medina, this triangular square, which is surrounded by restaurants, stands and public buildings, provides everyday commercial activities and various forms of entertainment.

It is a meeting point for both the local population and people from elsewhere.

All through the day, and well into the night, a variety of services are offered, such as dental care, traditional medicine, fortune-telling, preaching, and henna tattooing, water-carrying, fruit and traditional food may be bought.

In addition, one can enjoy many performances by storytellers, poets, snake-charmers, Berber musicians (mazighen), Gnaoua dancers and senthir (hajouj) players.

The oral expressions would be continually renewed by bards (imayazen), who used to travel through Berber territories.

They continue to combine speech and gesture to teach, entertain and charm the audience.

Adapting their art to contemporary contexts, they now improvise on an outline of an ancient text, making their recital accessible to a wider audience.

The Jemaa el-Fna Square is a major place of cultural exchange and has enjoyed protection as part of Morocco’s artistic heritage since 1922.
